He spent 15 years in Alexandria Univ. as asst. prof., assoc. prof. and full prof., 6 yrs in Qatar Univ. as assoc. prof. Now he is with the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Sultan Qaboos Univ. Dr. Yousef Supervised 27 completed M.Sc. theses and 8 completed Ph.D. theses. Dr. Yousef published 35 refreed journal papers and 55 refreed conference papers in the area of control system analysis and design, nonlinear and adaptive control, and intelligent control applications to power systems and electric drives)
